Every once in awhile, we meet someone who reminds us that life is amazing, no matter one’s situation, and that our time on this planet should not be wasted complaining, but rather living life to the fullest!  Terra Mackintosh is one of these people.

I first met Terra through our good friends at Facebook.  Denver musician Dave Preston had posted about Terra and the 2010 New York benefit she organized for Haiti relief, “Light for Haiti”.  Terra, along with some fellow New Yorkers, organized a benefit for Haiti that brought out some incredible national talent and raised a ton of money for the worthy cause.  Hear the full story of Terra’s Haitian love project at:  www.lightforhaiti.net Terra returned home to Colorado a few months ago to visit family and friends, and thankfully she caught wind of my concert series, Strings & Wood Concerts!  Terra, being the awesome women that she is, volunteered to write an incredible press release for Strings & Wood Concerts’ 2-year anniversary show in early February, which helped push Strings & Wood Concerts to the next level.  I was so inspired by Terra’s generosity, but I didn’t quite know how to thank her…that is, until we starting chatting photography.

Among her many talents, Terra’s true passion lies in the theater!  She will be in Colorado only a few more months enjoying time with family and friends; then, she plans to head back to New York to continue living out her passion and life in the theater.
