A Night & Day in Breck:  You gotta love it when an engagement session starts at midnight with dancing on bar room tables in the middle of Breckinridge and continues the next day with a gondola ride to Peak 8.  With its rustic fields and narrow alleyways, the Colorado mountain town of Breck is a certainly a wedding photographer’s playground!

As for the Special Couple, well…there is never a dull moment with Emma & Dustin – these two beautiful people were definitely made for each other.   Their energy, passion & love for life are contagious.

Thank you, Emma & Dustin, for an absolutely amazing weekend and for reminding me how much I LOVE MY JOB!  It’s been a blast getting to know you both over the past year, and we can’t wait for your big day!!

Christina & Jeremiah’s Canyon Wind Cellars Wedding in Palaside, CO was timeless.  We have loved getting to know Christina & Jeremiah over the past few years and were so excited when they asked us to photograph their spectacular day!   At most weddings, there is a clear distinction between who the family is and who the friends are…but because Christina & Jeremiah are so loved and cared for, it was difficult to tell who was who.  From the lawn games,  to the oil lanterns, to a 4-course meal served family-style (prepared on-site by an authentic Italian gourmet chef…what?!), their wedding was a true expression of the couple’s taste for great friends, incredible food & free-flowing wine!

Marco & Christine are one of those fun couples who, without question, enjoy trying new things.  We first met Marco (Dr. M.) a few years ago when Karyn had a minor fender bender.  Due to her accident, Karyn was in need of some chiropractic care and was happy to find SHIFT Chiropractic in LoHi, owned & run by the brilliant Dr. Marco Vespa.  His beautiful and talented bride-to-be, Dr. Christine Sigg, also runs her own chiropractic practice in Longmont.  In addition to their beauty and brains, these two know how to have some fun, all while ‘keeping it classy’!  In just a few short months, on Thanksgiving Day, Marco & Christine will be reciting their vows on a beach in beautiful Costa Rica!  – Marco and Christine, enjoy your incredible day, and thanks for choosing Art Heffron Photography to help ‘kick-start’ the fun!

There’s almost nothing better than when a close friend whom you have respected for years finds the women of his dreams to spend the rest of his life with! I’m sure Karyn & I speak for all of Brenda & Cooper’s family and friends when we say that these two were made for each other! Beatrice & Thomas’ Wedding Day Highlights

We had an incredible time photographing Beatrice & Thomas’ wedding on July 10th at Bethany Lutheran Church & The Wellshire Inn!  We love each and every couple that we have the privilage of working with, and each couple in their own unique way teaches us something new about our own lives!  After being part of Beatrice & Thomas’ day, we were reminded that we need to love and laugh a lot more often, not letting the small insignificant things in our lives consume our energy!  All the best and many blessings as you enter this beautiful time in your lives together!

Karyn & I are beyond excited to be participating in such an incredible part of Cooper & Brenda’s lives together!  Coop was the first person I lived with upon moving to Colorado in May of ‘05.  Shortly after we became roommates, Coop & I discovered that we both grew up in Albuquerque, NM…and in a town of over 900,000 people,  we also discovered ‘as 16 year old boys’ we chased after the exact same girl!  To her loss, she didn’t give either of us the time of day…but our friendship has never looked back after learning that we shared the same ‘good’ taste, a great New Mexico upbringing & and a passion for quality, local beer (from the Golden City Brewery, of course – 2nd largest & tastiest brewery in Golden, CO).

Turns out, Coop & I both actually found much better women for ourselves…ones who still, miraculously, give us the time of day!  And speaking of the fabulous new woman in Cooper’s life, Karyn & I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Brenda over the past year and half and are thrilled that the two of them have found each other!  Coop & Brenda – you are incredible individuals and even more amazing as a couple!!

We can’t wait to head to Breckenridge this weekend to photograph Coop & Brenda’s special day!   Enjoy a few highlights from their engagement session last month.  We had a great time ‘shooting’ around our studio at RiverFrontPark, and then we all decided to grab a happy hour at Paris On The Platte!  Just when I was about to put away my camera for the evening, I noticed how much fun we were still having…so I decided to keep shooting through our happy hour as well!  Thanks Coop & Brenda for being so much fun to work with and for your constant friendship and support in our lives!  Love you guys…and congrats on this next step in life together.
